Painfully slow, just a bad film
I'm a huge fan of old schlock monies but this one was just painfully slow. The acting is dire and story is... wait, was there a story?

The Bigfoot Feel
I would say this movie has a little more what you like to see in a Bigfoot movie. The scenery is nice and the characters hold your interest. Not many scenes where the creature shows up, but when he does, it's intriguing.
Hey Jan--unlike everyone posting opinions of films here, you actually got to be in one-- I think that's great! Count me as a fan. And this film is not at all bad, feels more like a documentary. The amateur production values work toward that end.

I was Sharon in the movie
The movie is bad - but look when it was filmed. 1959. I was Sharon, and we really did have a good time filming this over a 6 week time in the summer. I like it best in Black and white - like it was originally. My film career didn't exactly take off - but at this time of my life I had hopes that it would. Jan Hart janhart.com

Mercifully Short
Some high school kids out on an anthropology field expedition discover a mummified monster. It wakes, and attacks a couple of people. They destroy it in short order. Gotta see how this compares to Curse of Bigfoot. No actors were involved in the making of this picture. Two stars for the music and at least trying. I downloaded the DivX file. It's low-res and washed out, which is too bad.
